Cathy Cooney provides Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and she is one of only a handful of Physiotherapists treating these conditions in Ottawa.  On your first visit Cathy will conduct an assessment which includes your health history and an internal evaluation of the pelvic floor muscle function. Pelvic floor treatments typically last from 45 mins to one hour. Most patients have an average of six treatments for incontinence or prolapse. The average number of visits for pelvic pain typically ranges from eight to ten.
